Atco Wood Products is seeking an experienced Timber Harvesting Supervisor. Reporting to the Woodlands Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of supervising timber harvesting and road building contractors, including pre-work reviews, coaching, monitoring progress and ensuring workplace safety. In addition, this individual will be responsible for waste and residue surveys, fire hazard assessments and some road/block layout work. Critical to the role will your ability to function as an integral member of a team of results-oriented Forestry professionals. You will possess excellent communication and leadership skills and have strong analytical and problem solving capabilities. A minimum of 5 years experience and an RFT designation are definite assets.
